About Us

Hello and thanks for visiting my page. I set up Sarah Green Garden Care after a strong desire for years to work for myself.  I have two young children and probably like a lot of parents, was struggling to find that balance between home life and work life. Then "Lock Down" happened and our lives along with the rest of the world were turned upside down! Suddenly we found ourselves both working from home, trying to home educate our daughter (7) and try to occupy our son (3), whilst trying to stay happy and healthy. Like many we have found the situation to be extremely challenging at times (there have been tears and tantrums!) but on the flip side it has made us realise that if we can get through this, we can achieve anything!

So in a nutshell, this crisis has given me the drive I needed to fight my fears and go for it and so Sarah Green Garden Care was created.

I have worked hard in re training and have completed a Horticultural Worker Course, a Diploma in Garden Design and Maintenance, certificates in Zen and Urban Gardening and am Lantra trained and certified in mowing, brush cutting, strimming and hedge cutting having carried out training at Harper Adams University.

I also volunteer as a gardener at my local hospice to help maintain their wonderful RHS Award winning gardens, something which I really enjoy being a part of and I have met some lovely people.

​

I have always enjoyed interior and exterior design.  I really enjoy gardening and freshly cut grass is one of my favourite all time smells - it just shouts spring and summer have arrived!

I love keeping things in order and personally think keeping your home and garden in check can clear your mind, but I also know that at times with our very busy lives, sometimes the last thing you want to be doing is all those garden maintenance jobs.  

​

That's where I can help. I offer garden care from lawn cutting, to full garden clearances. No job is too small, so if you need help with anything garden, just get in touch for a chat to discuss your requirements.

My love of interior / exterior design also led me to my Garden Shop which I will be launching soon.  I will be posting further updates on this shortly and how you can get your hands on some lovely, unique items.
